How did you first get into the world of tech?

I first encountered working in IT seven years ago while conducting HR brand sessions for company directors and founders. This experience allowed me to study the specific requirements of employees within the tech sector, and I decided to specialise further in this area through my role at IDS Group.

And what was the biggest attraction for you?

I genuinely love people. Having the opportunity to observe the professional growth and development of each employee and be a part of this journey — that’s a true pleasure.

What’s the one quality you need to thrive in this environment (especially at IDS)?

In my opinion, empathy, organisational skills and the ability to multitask are the qualities that HR professionals can’t succeed without.

And what is the biggest challenge that the industry currently faces? OR What’s the biggest challenge in your role?

The market for quality IT professionals is highly competitive. So, the most important task for me is choosing great specialists who not only have the correct level of qualifications and expertise but are also the right cultural fit for our friendly, professional team.

What are the key things that make IDS stand out from the crowd?

There are several factors that distinguish us from others. If I were to choose just a couple, I’d say the fact that each of our projects bring real benefits to people and businesses – we do what we do because we love it, and genuinely want to see people benefitting from our expertise.

Also, the fact that we value every member of our team. Everyone has an opportunity to speak and be heard – it’s surprising how many businesses don’t operate in this way.

What is your favourite IDS project so far?

Being in HR, my view on this probably differs from other team members, but the best project for me is one that inspires the team. And, of course, I love eviFile — it’s a pleasure watching it grow, develop and become successful on a global scale.

What do you get up to, away from work?

Outside of work, I spend my time with my family and friends. Whenever possible, we travel because what could be more stunning than celebrating New Year in Montmartre or telling children about the great Gaudi while walking along the charming streets of Barcelona?

Thank you, DaryaWatch this space for our next team Q&A.
