Overhaul of digital booking platform for Wash Doctors mobile car valeting enterprise

The requirement
Wash Doctors needed a complete rebuild of their existing digital booking platform to allow its network of independent valeters and specialist detailers to confirm appointments with end-users via the firm’s desktop and mobile applications.
A major challenge was creating a future-proof system that remained simplistic for user-friendly interaction whilst also offering flexibility for the upscaling of functionality.
Wash Doctors initially brought IDS Group onboard to help overhaul the existing back-end system, which was failing to keep up to the number of bookings and enquiries that were be received, but soon realised the need and capabilities of building the a new platform with secure architecture designed for upscaling.

The solution
IDS overhauled the back-end system for the web-based platform, improving booking efficiency and supporting increased user traffic – resolving previous functionality issues.
We also created a new white-label, cloud-based system, AutoMate, to integrate third-party data and enhance platform usability for Wash Doctors’ partners.

The results
With functionality and ease-of-use in mind, the new AutoMate booking system uses cutting edge technology to create a cloud-based ‘catch-all’ master calendar that allows for Wash Doctors to integrate with their own bookings — creating a simple one-step function.
Built with consumers in mind, the booking tool allows for a much sharper and intuitive interaction, improving the overall booking experience for clients and service providers alike.
We have a very good relationship with the team now, having built up a great trust in their skillset and ability to deliver projects. Since our initial rollout of the optimised system went live in June, we have doubled our monthly revenue, and experienced no further functionality issues, despite the increased demand.
