Meet the team with… CTO Denis Koloshko

Next up in our employee spotlight is IDS Group’s CTO Denis Koloshko. An expert penetration tester, our highly-qualified security consultant has been with IDS since the very beginning. It’s no wonder he’s our ‘go to’ resource for the most technically demanding tasks…

How did you first get into the world of tech?

I got involved in a tech start-up when I was still at university. 

And what was the biggest attraction for you?

As an industry, IT professionals are known to be motivated by tackling challenges. We’re natural problem solvers, are genuinely self-motivated in our work, and inspired by the progress of our peers. 

What’s the one quality you need to thrive in this environment (especially at IDS)?

To be open, when it comes to collaborating with people, embracing new ideas, and pursuing new goals.

What are the key things that make IDS stand out from the crowd?

It all comes back to the quality of service that IDS is committed to delivering, whether we are providing technical consultancy expertise to an established enterprise, the architecture for a completely new product, or a new user interface that is as much about aesthetics as it is functionality. We set very high standards for ourselves, and expect our customers to have the same bold expectations.

What is your favourite IDS project so far?

The eviFile product that IDS developed, which takes quality assurance for the construction and utilities sector, to a completely different level.

cryptocurrency, which will completely revolutionise the financial industry.

The next purchase on my (personal) tech wishlist is…
