Our team Q&A spotlights the people behind the projects – sharing their stories, insights, and maybe an app they can’t live without!

Next up, it’s our delivery manager, Anton Stoliar…

I’ve been fascinated by computers since childhood. When I got my first PC, I must have reinstalled Windows ten times because I couldn’t stop exploring system settings and the BIOS, just to understand how everything worked. Later, my curiosity shifted toward games – I even replaced the background music in Quake 3 maps to play with my favourite tracks. What started as a hobby naturally evolved into a passion for technology, which made studying Computer Science my obvious next step.

My day usually starts with checking emails, work chats, and joining daily standups – something that sets the pace for the rest of the day. Around lunchtime, I like to take a walk in the park – it’s a great way to clear my head and recharge. I also make sure to dedicate at least an hour to strategic topics, otherwise the day-to-day tasks tend to consume all my focus.

The tech world isn’t as complicated or intimidating as it might seem. There are highly technical roles, but also plenty of creative ones, so there’s something for everyone. In my opinion, what truly matters is genuine curiosity and a real interest in learning. In this field, you’re constantly exposed to new ideas and technologies, so it’s hard to keep up if you’re not genuinely drawn to it. And one more thing – discipline over talent. I truly believe that being hardworking and persistent matters far more than being naturally gifted.

My favourite moment at IDS Group so far was the recent senior leadership strategy session in Istanbul, marking the pivot from ambitious planning to actively laying the strategic groundwork for 2026 and beyond. The most inspiring part was seeing the European and UK leadership team aligned, not just on expanding our service offering and growing the team, but on the absolute technical necessity of how we deliver value to our clients. This unified focus on driving more value, architecting mission-critical platforms, and building resilient systems for our global client base felt like a powerful affirmation of the collective expertise and technical integrity that defines IDS Group, and I am incredibly proud to be part of that confident growth trajectory.

I think IDS Group stands out for its mix of professionalism, experience, broad perspective, and a great sense of humour. For me, it’s important to work with people that are not only highly skilled, but genuinely fun to collaborate with. Our team has plenty of technical expertise, but with a human touch – and that’s what makes us unique.

Aspiration, evolution, and harmony.

I love my role. I’m right at the middle point of business and technology. It gives me the opportunity to connect with many talented and successful entrepreneurs, constantly learning something new about different industries. At the same time, I stay deeply involved in the technical side of our projects, where each challenge we tackle is unique. I love that balance – seeing how technology can directly support businesses with their growth and evolution.

Without a doubt, it’s AI. But over the next 12 months, the real power will come from those that can combine it with human expertise. Nowadays, most companies are using AI, in some shape or form, but only a few manage to do it in a way that truly speeds up delivery and improves the quality of solutions. We’ve found that balance, and it’s becoming one of our strongest competitive edges.

Do Not Disturb mode on my phone – honestly! We live in a world full of noise and constant distractions, so having the ability to focus and give myself the space to rest has become one of the most essential “tech tools” I can’t live without – both in and out of work.

It’s hard to pick just one thing! I’m an active person. In winter, it’s snowboarding, the rest of the year, it’s tennis or squash. And I absolutely love spending time outdoors with my Samoyed dog. Those moments help me recharge and bring back the energy I later channel into my work.
